Is your website mobile friendly?

When you market your business whether that be through a website, video, email, etc. you have to make sure it is mobile friendly. This means your website has to load fast and adjust properly to a small screen, a video needs to have captions in case the person watches it without sound, etc. We live in a mobile society now and you have to make sure you’re giving those users what they’re looking for.

Here are some quick stats from a recent Google survey to prove my point:

We check our phones 150 times per day and spend on average of 177 minutes per day on our phones. That’s nearly three hours per day.

82% of smartphone users check their phones when they’re about to make a purchase in a store.

91% of us use our phones for ideas while we’re in the middle of a task.

90% of smartphone users haven’t decided on the specific brand/company they want to use when they begin searching online.

73% of consumers said that regularly getting useful information from a company is the most important attribute when selecting a business to work with.

This is important and goes right along with what I’ve been saying. Keep in constant contact with customers (and potential customers) with email, Facebook, videos, etc. and they will be much more likely to continue buying from you as well as new customers starting to do business with you.

69% of smartphone users are more likely to buy from companies whose mobile sites help them easily find answers to their questions.

I’ve got a lot more stats, but I think this gives you a good picture.

Your marketing needs to be mobile friendly.
Your marketing needs to be educational.
Your marketing needs to be consistent.
Your marketing needs to be everywhere.

Proverbs 20:13 – Do not love excessive sleep, or you will become poor; Open your eyes so that you can do your work and you will be satisfied with bread.

Don’t be lazy in your marketing. It sounds like a lot to do, but start making baby steps toward your goals. It won’t be as hard as you think.
